[Updated 28th January 2020]

Dear Parents/Carers,

Many thanks to those of you who attended the Information Evening. For those that were unable to attend, or those who wanted further details, here is the PowerPoint and electronic copies of the handout.

Below are also links to the workbooks that were mentioned during the Information Evening. Please note, we are merely suggesting these as possible guides to help support your child in preparation for both the SATs exams and also with achieving the ‘Expected Standard’ by the end of the year.

There are many other alternatives available; however, we have reviewed several that are currently on sale and we feel that these are most in-line with the format of the SATs papers, whilst also offering clear explanations of each subject area and the units or areas of study within each subject. We don’t expect all of them to be purchased, we are simply suggesting them as guides to support pupils with their class work. You may wish to think about whether you purchase the workbooks, question books or practice papers, and for which subject, depending on the areas that your child finds most difficult. If you would like to view any copies before you buy them, please see Miss Long (6L) as she has copies of each of them.

Many thanks for your continued support, The Year 6 Team.
